Verizon brings Samsung Gleam Clamshell Phone

Verizon Samsung Gleam Verizon Wireless has announced the availability of the shiny thin clamshell handset from Samsung, called the Gleam.

The gleam comes in a glossy metallic bronze and black color along with a sleek silver keypad. Along with Verizon Wireless’ living wallpaper capabilities, it also features V Cast Music to download songs over-the-air and even transfer the music collection into the detachable microSD memory cards, V Cast Video to download or stream video clips such as music, sports, entertainment and many more.

Gleam also sports ‘Get It Now’ function to download games, ringtones, wallpapers, location based services and more. Furthermore, a Mobile Web 2.0 capability helps users to customize, enhanced wireless access to the new latest in news, sports, weather and entertainment. It also provides Instant Messaging using AIM, MSN, Yahoo! as well as Text, picture and video messaging.

Verizon Gleam by Samsung features 240 x 320 pixels, 262K TFT color internal display and 96 x 96 pixel, 65K TFT external display, up to 4 GB of expandable memory with microSD memory card slot, camcorder and personal organizer such as Calendar, Calculator, Notepad, Currency Converter, Alarm Clock, World Time and Stop Watch.
