Tata Indicom today announced to the popular infotainment space on Tata Indicom BREW-enabled mobile phones in Hindi. The browsing instructions, downloads and other details will now be displayed in Hindi, for the convenience of the Indian users.
On Tata Zone, Hindi users can browse through a variety of entertainment applications such as Cricket, Faith and Prayers, Bollywood and Hollywood movies, News, Astrology, Funzone, and Games. Users also access and download the latest collection of ringtones and wallpapers.
According to Tata Indicom, 66% of all Indians speak Hindi, while less than 5 % understand English. Thus, realizing the linguistic problems, Tata Indicom is offering its Tata Zone service in national language.
Activating the Hindi Tata Zone is easy. Users just have to select Hindi as their preferred language in their phone settings. If they find English more appropriate, then they can switch back to English language by selecting English in the same manner.
