W51S the sleek Clamshell Mobile Phone unveiled by Sony Ericsson
Sony Ericsson has just unveiled its new clamshell mobile phone, which has been dubbed ‘W51S’. The Sony Ericsson W51S mobile phone sports an awesome 2.7-inch display with 16:9 widescreen.
The W51S clamshell from Sony Ericsson features Organic Light Emitting Device (OLED) on the front cover. This OLED screen illuminates icons when the user receives a call, message or notice.
Moreover, the 2.7-inch widescreen display on the Sony Ericsson W51S mobile phone utilizes RealityMAX technology that helps to enhance picture quality.
The Sony Ericsson W51S clamshell also features a 2 mega pixel camera, 120MB of internal memory. The internal memory of the W51S can be increased further with Memory Sticks. Besides, the Sony Ericsson W51S has 3.5 hours of talk-time and 270 hours standby.
The Sony Ericsson W51S phone is available in a choice of black, gold and pink. The black W51S phone has an awesome carbon-fiber like finish; the pink one has a pretty floral pattern, while the gold one has a very classy and smooth look.
The Sony W51S will be released in Spring 2007 in Japan. No word on the price of the Sony Ericsson W51S mobile phone.
