LG L704i ‘Chocolate’ Phone with eight other handsets add to NTT DoCoMo
Eight more mobile phones get added to the NTT DoCoMo portfolio, the leading mobile communications company.
The LG L704i handset provides DoCoMo’s FOMA service and HSDPA. The chocolate phone also offers GSM and W-CDMA, which gives the user super fast 3.6Mbps downloads via HSDPA.
The other features of the LG L704i includes 2MP camera, secondary camera for video conferencing, 2.2 inch QVGA display supporting 262k colors. It also comes with a Micro SD card for memory expansion up to 2GB. The battery lasts for 300 hours of standby time and 150 minutes of talktime.
The cell phone carries the traditional chocolate styled touch panel with a red backlight for accessing the menu. The LG L704i will be available in black, white and wine red colors from October.
The Japanese NTT DoCoMo has also launched a new generation 704i series of mobile phones from companies like Panasonic, Sony Ericsson and LG. The D704i and SH704i features digital YV reception. All the eight slim handset has 3G FOMA. It offers One-segment” terrestrial digital broadcasting, High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA), international roaming (3G/GSM/GPRS), “Uta-hodai” full-track music downloads, waterproof design and much more, depending on the model.
The F704i, a slender waterproof phone, provides 3G international roaming capability. The P704iu carries Smart Flash for beautiful pictures, even in poor light. It is compatible with the Uta-hodai service allowing full-track music downloads from i-mode sites for a flat monthly subscription fee.
The SO704i offers nine optional Style-Up panels, which illuminate for incoming calls or mail, or when the phone has been closed. An extra-slim P704i and N704i clamshell handsets carries lot of space for basic features and 3G international roaming.
The F704i, SO704i, N704iu and P704iu will be available this month. The D704i and SH704i will be out in stores by the end of August. The P704i is expected to be launched by the end of September.
