Apple iPhone to Hit the Market on June 29th
Apple has announced the launching date of iPhone finally. The iPhone, which is Apple’s much hyped and much awaited device will appear in the market on June 29th.
Apple iPhone is surely a revolutionary device. The company has eliminated conventional keypad from the phone and it is replaced by touch-sensitive screen. The 3.5 inch display, 2 mega pixel camera, headset and audio jacks are some of the attractive features of the Apple iPhone. Moreover, the iPhone is backed by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and EDGE for data transmission.
The first iPhone model will be quad-band GSM (global system for mobile communications), meaning it should work in almost every major country in the world other than Japan and Korea where GSM is not used.
Apple had announced that the iPhone would be in the market by June, at the time of its introduction in January, but no specific date was released. Tom Neumayr, an Apple spokesman, confirmed the June 29 sale date. Also there are three TV commercial ads posted on Apple’s website.
Apple iPhone will be available only in USA initially and it will carry a price tag of $499 for 4 GB memory and $599 for 8GB memory. AT&T Inc.’s wireless division is the exclusive place to purchase iPhone.
