Casio G’zOne Type-S Rugged Mobile Phone Introduced by Verizon

Casio G'zOne Type-S Rugged Mobile Phone Verizon Wireless has finally announced the awaiting release of the Casio G’zOne Type-S Mobile Phone. The rugged Type-S is designed to meet multiple military standard specifications.

The new model can survive heavy rainfall and splashing and is even protected against desert dust. It can also withstand approx. 5-feet drop from any angle. It offers customers a sleek form factor and Bluetooth facilities, and thus making it the most preferable outdoor communications tool.

  • The new version of the rugged clamshell from Casio supports most of the Verizon’s advanced features such as EVDO broadband, VZ Navigator for assistive GPS mapping, and mobile IM chats with AIM, Windows Live, or Yahoo.

    In January, Verizon released the Casio G’zOne Type V. Casio launched the G’zOne line back in 2005. Verizon sells the Casio G’zOne Type S for $149.99 including $50 rebate and a new two-year customer agreement.
