Samsung SGH-F500 Mobile Phone

Samsung announced the worldwide availability of its DivX Certified Ultra Video mobile phone called SGH-F500. The new mobile handset features stylish design and offers multimedia experience, including high-quality DivX video playback.

The new phone from Samsung incorporates a large 2.4 inch, swiveling LCD screen, which offers users an enhanced viewing experience. Also the phone allows users to view high-quality DivX video from the PC or Internet.

Patrice Lagrange who is a Vice President and Group Business Manager, Media Languages, DivX, Inc. said, “Samsung clearly recognizes the value of DivX to provide a high-quality video experience for their users, and we’re pleased that consumers all over the world will now gain access to this device.”

“We’re working to create a truly interoperable digital media experience for consumers that crosses the PC, the living room and the mobile environment, and Samsung is a great partner to help bring that solution to consumers,” said Lagrange.

Samsung also mentioned that the SGH-F500 is already in the Netherlands market and now it will ship in countries like France, Germany, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
