PDP brings Disney mobile accessory range to Europe
PDP and Disney have joined forces to launch a wide selection of mobile accessories into the European market. The companies further state that these trendy peripherals can be used to dress up various iOS gadgets such as the iPhone, iPod nano, iPod touch and iPad as well as Android handsets.
Potential users can now avail of many well known Disney characters that include the likes of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as well as Tinker Bell and the beloved Muppet critters such as Miss Piggy, Kermit and Animal. There are also characters plucked right out of modern classics like Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Toy Story and Cars.
Chris Spearing, PDP’s European Managing Director, said, “We’re very pleased to be working with Disney to bring this exciting range to market. Our designers have worked closely with Disney to create some really unique products, using previously unseen artwork from the Disney archives. We’ve also focused heavily on quality – targeting the top end of the accessories market with a truly premium range.”
The Disney mobile accessories that have already set sail for European shores include protective silicone sleeves and clip cases for the various iterations of the iPhone and iPod touch. There are also clip cases and protective sleeves fashioned exclusively for the iPad and iPad 2. The iPod nano slap bands enable users to flaunt their devices as watches. These come in with a trio of exclusive wrist bands.
The collaboration between the two companies has also given rise to the Cars Kids’ kit for the iPad and iPad 2. This offering is an amalgamation of different components put together to satisfy the multipurpose appetite. These inclusions read as a capacitive stylus, integrated stand, car headrest, carrying strap, built-in pass-through screen protector and childproof case.
The Disney mobile accessory range which includes the protective silicone sleeves for the iPhone 4 and 4S, is priced at €19.99 (approx. Rs. 1,300), while the clip cases for the iPhone 3GS along with the iPod, iPhone 4 and 4S can be picked up for €29.99 (approx. Rs. 1,945). The iPad add-ons and the iPod nano slap bands can be purchased for €24.99 (approx. Rs. 1,620) each.
