Asus F1A75 series motherboards based on AMD A75 chipset

Asus F1A75 Motherboards

The Asus F1A75 series motherboards with overclocking capabilities have been announced. This is not the first time that the company has launched a number of motherboards in the past to make desktops run faster and deliver an unmatched performance.

Integrated with DIP2 comprising DIGI+ VRM, TPU and EPU, the FM1 socket mainboard has dual x8/x8 PCIe for AMD CrossFireX support. The DIGI+ VRM lets users adjust and control power settings. The digital controls help improving overclocking capabilities as opposed to analog along with additional DRAM control for AMD platform. The series natively supports USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gbps standards. Further, the thermal function of the motherboard helps controlling the temperature.

Based on AMD A75, the series is compatible with AMD’s APUs and also with AMD Radeon HD 6000 series processor graphics with the help of its AMD Dual Graphics support. Without an extra graphics card, the APU Radeon processor graphics delivers DirectX 11 technology and OpenCL Direct Compute while consuming low power. The performance of the system can be enhanced by up to 128 percent with the integration of another PCIe Radeon GPU for Radeon Dual Graphics mode.

Also included is the UEFI BIOS menu interface which facilitates adjusting BIOS settings via a mouse for easier navigation. The built-in EZ Mode is for managing boot devices and users wishing to add complicated settings can do so with the help of Advanced Mode. Screen caps can be saved in a USB thumb drive by hitting F12 on the keyboard. All the attributes can be accessed by UEFI BIOS or AI Suite II software.

The Asus F1A75 series motherboards have been launched, though their pricing and availability are unclear as of now.
