Quad Lock mounts the iPhone almost anywhere

The Annex Quad Lock mount for the iPhone is a recent addition to the list of interesting products on the Kickstarter site. Available in mount kit variations, the accessory promises to hold up the Apple handset on almost any surface, including car dashboards, bike handles, walls, and more.

Composed of polycarbonate plastic, the Quad Lock case is a considerably slim peripheral which not only maintains the iPhone in a steady position, but also protects it. The body is incorporated with a holder which easily connects with any of the available Quad Lock mounts.

“If you’re like us, you use your iPhone as a GPS while driving and boating, a trip computer while cycling, a list while shopping, a score card while golfing, an alarm clock while sleeping, a recipe book while cooking, a calendar while at the office and we even sometimes make a phone call,” commented Rob Ward of Annex Products. “The Quad Lock makes all of these tasks easier by providing an easy-to-use mounting system that was designed specifically for the iPhone.”

The mount options include ST and Pro. The latter possesses a spring locking collar which is supposed to be pushed down when it is required to unlock and release the handset. This feature is said to offer more security to the device. On the other hand, the ST mount seems apt for activities like cycling.

The Quad Lock can presently be pre-ordered through fund pledges on the Kickstarter website. The various kits for this product can be picked in prices ranging from $25 to $80.
