Sony rolls in new DSX-S300BT and DSX-S200X ‘Tune Tray’ car stereos

For users who want a top-flight performance car stereo with a dab of style, Sony has just added two new models to its existing Sony ‘TuneTray’ car stereo lineup, the DSX-S300BT and the DSX-S200X. Just to notify, ‘TuneTray’ is an internal mechanical compartment for an iPod or other USB devices.

On commanding, the sleek front faceplate of both these models flips down and outputs its TuneTray compartment where the iPod can be connected. The stereo flips back up and ensures to maintain its standard functionality. The new models feature a clear OEL display and an external USB input which allows users to connect two USB capable devices at the same time.

Both the models are equipped with Sony’s unique SensMe technology which analyzes a connected music library to create custom playlists and radio channels. The stereos also utilize Advanced Sound Engine to offer an exceptional in-car sound environment.

In addition, the DSX-S300BT possesses built-in Bluetooth technology for hands-free calling and wireless music streaming. These new peripherals expand Sony’s TuneTray car stereo line up by joining its current DSX-S100 model.

The Sony DSX-S300BT and DSX-S200X car stereos are priced around $280 (approx Rs. 12,960) and $200 (approx Rs. 9,260) respectively and will be available beginning September 2010 at authorized retailers nationwide.
