“The market for this type of products is booming and the touch screen solution is destined to be a vital part of the success of this market. We developed the zForce Pad platform together with companies in the mobile internet and tablet PC device industry and we are confident that it will play an important role in the development of the market. The feed-back from the companies we presented zForce Pad to at the recently completed 3GSM World Mobile Congress in Barcelona, Spain, was very encouraging.” said Thomas Eriksson, CEO of Neonode Technologies AB.

Neonode’s zForce Pad is aimed at companies that develop and sell touchscreen based mobile internet and computer devices like tablet-PCs and iPad-like devices. zForce Pad also brings in several benefits compared to the current technologies- 100 percent transparency, low cost for complete touchscreen solution, ultra-thin design, remarkable finger touch experiences, built-in ambient light sensor and low power consumption.

Well, devices based on the zForce Pad touchscreen reference design have been already developed by Asian companies. Neonode provides touch solutions which are more cost effective than other high performance touch solutions available in the market.

zForce integrates all functionalities and performance features such as touch solutions like resistive and capacitive and support for high resolution pen input, multi-finger touch, and gestures like zooming. zForce is now being integrated in products like mobile phones, mobile internet devices, e-books, digital picture frames and tablet PCs.
