Yet another Blu-ray player is out in the market that claims to enter the land of interactive content with BD-Live interactivity. If you are wondering what does that mean, then the new device will help users to access the next-generation Blu-ray Disc media for an exceptional video performance. Harman Kardon has announced the launch of its latest Blu-ray Player, known as the BDP 10.

The backwards-compatible system has BonusView interactivity and BD-Live capability for users to view extra online content associated with certain Blu-ray movies.
Users can download games, ringtones and other special content from the Internet through the Blu-ray menu.
Measuring 66 x 440 x 352mm (H x W x D) and weighing 3.7kg, the BDP 10 has the ability to play MP3 and WMA file formats, DivX video and display JPEG photos. It enables users to access data from external USB drives by using the front-panel USB input. Other connectivity features include component and RCA video outputs, an Ethernet jack, coaxial and optical audio outputs along with traditional two-channel analog audio output.
Expected to carry a price tag of $940 (approx. Rs. 46,581), the BDP 10 Blu-ray Player from Harman Kardon will be available in the European market only by May 2009.
