Insignia NS-HD01 Receiver

Best Buy has introduced the Insignia HD radio receiver. This portable receiver bundles up 10 preset stations and a full color display. This first of its kind innovative product will be available exclusively through Best Buy.

The HD radio technology enables FM radio stations to broadcast their programs digitally and virtually eliminate audio distortion. The digital broadcasting allows listeners to access an increased number of programs and channels.

“The sound quality and LCD screen features of the Insignia HD Radio portable are phenomenal,” said Mike Dahnert, Insignia Portable HD Radio product manager. “Best Buy is proud to be the first to bring such a unique and quality product to our customers.”

The Insignia claims to provide users an exceptional HD radio experience almost anywhere, the player is said to offer users new and improved static-free FM HD radio channels with crystal-clear sound quality.

The features of the Insignia include built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that provides approximately 10 hours of usage time, 3.5mm output jack that allows users to connect this radio to their car and 1.5-inch full color LCD screen. This HD radio receiver also bundles up earphones, armband, USB cable, user guide and quick set up guide.

The Insignia NS-HD01 radio receiver will be available exclusively at Best Buy at a price of $49.99 (approx. Rs. 2,465).
