LimePC M1 Linux-based Handheld Announced

LimePC M1 handheld A Chinese firm, LimePC has introduced its latest tiny ultra-mini PC, dubbed the M1. Based on Linux, the M1 is said to be the size of a pack of playing cards. Beijing-based Tsinghua Tongfang’s (THTF) Korean subsidiary LimePC has developed this device.

This handheld has a large touchpad LCD screen and it runs on MPC5121e processors. It features up to 16GB of NAND Flash, USB 2.0, 802.11g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1, as well as 10/100 Ethernet for the desktop models.

Boasting to be the world’s smallest full desktop PC, the M1 comes for the notebook model. It is powered on 4-plus hours of Lithium Polymer battery. It is said that all LimePC products run on LimeOS.

If it is the size of a card, then surely it will fit into your pocket easily and comfortably.

Expected to release in late 2008, the LimePC M1 UMPC would cost $299 (approx. Rs. 12000).
