As you can make out from the name, the toothbrush uses tuned sonic / ultrasonic (over 20,000Hz) waves to channel energy into the bubbles to help eliminate bacteria and plaque from between your teeth. Ultreo claims that this dentist-visit-averter removes 95% of plaque.
Ultrasound Toothbrush is programmed to stop after two-minutes of brushing time as advised by dentists. It also reminds you to clean all areas of your teeth every 30 seconds as well as takes care that the ultrasound does not damage your mouth. The Ultrasound Toothbrush by Ultreo is expensive and costs $150 (approx. Rs. 6700). It rather makes sense to go to the dentist!
