Yamaha PSR-S900 delivers USB, Ethernet Port

Yamaha PSR-S900

The Yamaha PSR-S900 piano is offering a USB and Ethernet port that can play music and connect to the net at the same time. The Ethernet port gives you a direct connection to the internet without using a computer. It even lets you download thousands of compositions and 7,000 karaoke arrangements.

The PSR-S900 crams 392 “realistic instrument voices” and 305 accompaniment styles powered by MegaVoices, and aside from playing with MIDI-related information, this 61-key piano models a 5.7-inch 320 x 240 display and 1.4MB of internal flash storage.

With the highly sophisticated digital musical instrument, you can upload your excess data via a USB HDD or thumb drive. The tech-savvy keyboardist can enjoy the video out port, USB audio recording ability, and Internet Direct Connection access that “enables users to browse and download thousands of songs” as well as learn of product updates.

It can make a tremendous variety of sounds and noises, and has a full range of synthesizer functions and recording capabilities. The S900 hits the market this summer in U.S. for $1,815 (¥220,500), while the two lesser-spec’s siblings (S700 and S500) hit at $1,080 (¥131,250) and $648 (¥78,750) respectively. So, does this mean that we in the Indian market will have access to the Yamaha PSR-S900 soon enough?
