Microsoft ‘Office Ready’ Initiated in India

Scalar Teleglass T3-F Microsoft Corporation has announced the launch of ‘Office Ready’ in India. Though the company will launch it worldwide, it plans to start with India.

As part of the post launch go-to-market strategy, Office Ready helps in promoting Microsoft Office 2007. The main motto behind this initiative is to allow partners to enjoy simplified licensing policy, reduce inventory management and support cost.
Office Ready also provides more opportunities to sell products and service profitably. Through this initiative, partners can sell Microsoft Office suites with a new PC.

This initiative will also benefit customers, as they will experience full-fledge features of Microsoft Office Professional 2007 for 60 days before making a purchase decision. If they are satisfied with the enhanced features, they can buy their choice’s product key for the suite from a reseller.

Office Ready is not only useful to partners and customers; it also gives system builders an opportunity to enjoy this initiative. System builders are also offered Microsoft Office Medialess license kits from distributors and OEM’s. They need to first install the Office Ready image on their PCs and sell them to the buyers with 60-days trail of Microsoft Office Professional 2007.

With the release of 2007 Microsoft Office, the company has come across the latest streamlined ‘Fluent user interface.’ This enables them to discover usually used and well-known commands, enhanced graphics and formatting capabilities, new communications and information management tools and more reliability and security.

The latest release enables increasing personal productivity, simplifies how people work together, makes processes and content management more efficient, and improves the quality of business insight across organizations.

Microsoft has partnered with four OEMs including HP, Lenovo, Acer and Toshiba for ‘Office Ready’. Microsoft Office 2007 is the most significant step from Microsoft since more than a decade.

Since the Microsoft business launch in November 2006, customer adoption has reached up to 1,75,0,000 licenses for 2007 Microsoft Office. Within three weeks of the program launch, Microsoft has experienced over 1778 system builders buying 3579 Microsoft Office Ready OPK Masterkits.
