A Japanese-based company, Extra has debuted with its very innovative and interesting Personal Digital Assistant device for blind masses, called the VoiceSense.
The features of the excellent product include a keyboard with special design, FM/AM radio tuner, Internet browser with mail function and MSN messenger, MP3 player and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The VoiceSense is compatible with Windows CE operating system. It also comes with a vocal guiding system to navigate with ease, and enables the user to write documents.
In addition, it has a PIM system, which is equipped with a scheduler, alarms clock, tasks (to-do lists), calculator and contact list. The special device also offers SD and CF memory card slots for more storage.
The Extra VoiceSense will cost around $2,150 (approx. Rs. 84,000) and will be available in Japan from 21st July.
