Sharp KD-E1 ‘KidsDic’ – a Teaching Computer Introduced
Now-a-days, I wonder if it is very important for kids to learn English. The phrase, “Sooner the Better” must have inspired the Korean-based Sharp Company to produce a teaching computer, which offers a dictionary for kids to start learning English language.
Sharp has unveiled its new electronic dictionary called KD-E1 for children, also known as KidsDic. It comes with mini games, stories and songs. The dictionary supports more than eight kind of content.
The main intention of the company is to teach and at the same time have fun with functions such as games, songs and stories. The device is equipped with a number of different animated programs like quizzes, picture dictionary. It also offers translation on-demand.
The KD-E1 enables the user to store and view photos on the machine. Moreover, it can even play MP3 tracks through SD slot, which transfers the files from PC to the latest device.
The user can also enjoy watching visual content on large display, as the KidsDic can be connected to an LCD display.
Sadly, the Sharp KidsDic KD-E1 electronic dictionary will be available only in the Korean market for 365,000KRW (approx. Rs. 16,034.35). Let’s hope this product launches soon in India too!
