Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Hybrid laptop, T430u Ultrabook rolled out

Lenovo seems to be on a roll considering that along with its ThinkPad Edge range, the manufacturer also unveiled the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Hybrid laptop that has the ThinkPad T430u Ultrabook for company. A sequel to the ThinkPad X1, the lightweight X1 Hybrid notebook claims to cough up the juice for about 10 hours. Also, the company’s first Ultrabook aimed at professionals, is armed with most business features.
In addition to the Windows operating system, the Hybrid laptop comes with the Instant Media Mode (IMM) that is inclusive of 16GB storage memory, a Qualcomm dual core processor and Linux OS. An icon on the homescreen allows users to switch to the IMM mode, which helps saving up on the battery life and allows browsing the web, listening to music, viewing videos and pictures. Additionally, the Rapid Charge technology accelerates the charging process to power about 80 percent of the battery battery in 30 minutes.
The 0.6-inch thin laptop tips the scale at less than 4 pounds and is outfitted with a 13.3-inch screen featuring Corning Gorilla Glass. It is capable of supporting the second generation Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors, while it can be included with optional mobile broadband. The Intel vPro technology, fingerprint reader, encrypted hard drives and more eliminate the possibility of unauthorized access to personal information. Other tech specs of the device read a webcam with microphone, Dolby Home Theater v4 sound, Intel WiDi and an HDMI port amongst others.

The Lenovo ThinkPad T430u Ultrabook enclosed in a thin and lightweight chassis, sports a soft to touch matte finish along with an aluminum top cover. It is armed with an island-style keyboard and lets users choose between second generation Intel Core processors as well as Intel integrated or Nvidia graphics. The 14-inch laptop supports up to 1TB storage capacity, boots up faster and provides battery life of about 6 hours. The Lenovo Solution Center by Intel Small Business Advantage helps conserving energy and even launches automatic patch updates.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Hybrid laptop price starts at $1,599 (approx. Rs. 84,426) and it will be available in Q2 2012, while the Lenovo ThnkPad T430u Ultrabook will debut in the Q3 for a price beginning at $849 (approx. Rs. 44,820).
