Lenovo ThinkPad Edge essential, mainstream and premium laptops outed

Aimed at SMBs, the latest portfolio of Lenovo ThinkPad Edge laptops comprising the premium S series, mainstream E series and essential B series cram in business technology along with entertainment features. Available in configurations of 11, 13, 14 and 15 inches, these portable computers pack in Intel Core processors, Thunderbolt technology and Lenovo Solution Center amongst others.
First up is the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge S430 encased in a stylish mocha black colored chassis featuring metal accents and a soft-touch finish. This extremely thin 14-inch laptop can be customized with the Intel Core processor, Nvidia Optimus graphics, a DVD burner and an additional hard drive for storage amounting to 1TB. Also included are Dolby Home Theater v4 and the Thunderbolt technology that facilitates faster file transfer. Embedded with USB 3.0 ports, the pre-loaded Lenovo Solution Center offers security and productivity tools for automatic patch updates as well as energy savings.

The ThinkPad Edge E series is inclusive of the 14-inch E430 and 15-inch E530. They can be configured with Intel Core processors or AMD Fusion APUs along with integrated or discrete graphics as per the user demands. Capable of providing up to 1TB storage capacity, these notebooks come with USB 3.0 ports, webcams and more. The Intel powered devices are pre-installed with the Lenovo Solution Center. Additionally, the series also consists of the E130 and E330 equipped with Intel Core processors in addition to the E135 and E335, which operate with the help of AMD Vision Accelerated processors. Their covers are splashed with shades of heatwave red, midnight black and cobalt blue.

The B480 and B580 laptops of the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge essential B series arrive with Intel Core processors, whereas the B485 and B585 notebooks draw power from AMD Fusion APUs. Besides up to 1TB storage capacity and a multi-card reader, these devices sport USB 3.0 ports and HDMI connectors. Similar to most ThinkPad Edge notebooks, the B series also feature the Lenovo Solution Center powered by Intel Small Business Advantage.
The Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E series E130, E135, E330 and E335 as well as B series B480, B485, B580 and B585 laptops will hit store shelves in select markets soon, while the E430, E435, E530 and E535 will be available across the world in April. The 14- and 15-inch notebooks’ prices begin at $549 (approx. Rs. 29,000) and the B series start at $499 (approx. Rs. 23,720). The Lenovo ThinkPad Edge S430 priced at $749 (approx. Rs. 39,570), will be available in June in select markets.
