Sony Vaio E Series Laptops arriving this July

The latest line of laptops from Sony appears to be a perfect blend of classy looks and entertainment. The Sony Vaio E series laptops will be up for pre-order from June 19.
The Vaio E series comes with geometric patterns on lids and palm rests that are resistant to fingerprints. The 14-inch and 15.5-inch models are available in different shades namely, midnight blue, glacier white, charcoal black and blush pink while the 17.3-inch model in glacier white and charcoal black.
They sport textured touchpads and edge-to-edge isolated keyboards with three exclusive buttons – Web, Vaio and Assist. The Web button provides instant internet access without fully booting Windows, the Vaio button is for Media Gallery which is playback software and the Assist button launches Vaio Care, a built-in program for maintenance and troubleshooting.
“The Vaio brand stands for excellent quality and standout design. The new E Series delivers both, plus entertainment and connectivity options, at a price the everyday user can afford.” stated Mike Lucas, senior vice president of Networked Technology and Services Division, Sony Electronics.
Certain Select models are integrated with Intel Wireless Display technology to watch the laptop content on HDTV with up to 1080p resolution using a separately sold adapter. Remote Keyboard on select models connects laptops to either Bravia TV or Blu-ray Disc Players. The Remote Play for PS3 lets users access the stored content on PS3 on the internet.
Fitted with LED backlit LCD screens, Sony Vaio E series laptops also feature built-in microphone and web camera for video chats. Laptops are powered by either Intel Core i3 or i5 processor along with Intel Hyper-Threading and Turbo Boost technology 2.0 facilitating multitasking. The 15.5-inch notebook in charcoal black is also powered by AMD E-350 Dual Core processor with AMD Mobility Radeon HD6130 Graphics Vision Technology for superior graphics and detailing.
Sony Vaio E series laptops start at $550 (approx. Rs. 24,700) and will be available at Sony stores and other retailers by next month.
