Dell Inspiron 14z Laptop

Broadening their Inspiron range of slim and sleek laptops, Dell has released the Inspiron 13z and 14z models. They can be used anywhere, like taking down notes in a class or to communicate with loved ones miles away.

These laptops are endowed with an HD display of 720p and run on the secondgeneration Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processors which seem to make them apt for school papers, company reports and mobile entertainment. The laptops come with supposedly high battery lives and built-in SRS premium sound HD.

“The new Inspiron 13z and 14z are two of the most powerful, ultra-thin Inspiron laptops we’ve ever offered. Today’s ‘on-the-go’ lifestyle demands portability and power, so your favorite content is always at your fingertips,” said Sam Burd, vice president of Dell’s Consumer and Small/Medium Business product group.

The laptops are capable of streaming full HD movies and video wirelessly with the Intel Wireless Display technology or by connecting them to an HDTV through an HDMI cable. The lightweight devices come in Diamond Black or Fire Red LCD backs accompanied by smudge-resistant palm rests, matching keyboards and HD webcams. They are enabled with features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, a built-in media card reader and the latest USB 3.0 technology which transfers content at a faster rate than the 2.0 version.

The Inspiron 13z possesses a 13.3-inch widescreen HD display along with optional functions like up to 8GB of memory, a 320GB or 500GB hard drive or 128GB of solid state storage. The Inspiron 14z equips a 14-inch widescreen HD display and an internal tray-load DVD combo to play and record DVDs or CDs. Its optional features comprise up to 8GB memory and a 500GB, 640GB or 750GB hard drive.

They integrate the Dell Stage’s one-click access to music, videos and pictures. These devices are incorporated with SyncUP powered by Nero which allows users to keep content and personal data synched with other Dell PCs and mobile devices enabled with Stage within their home Wi-Fi network.

The Inspiron 14z can now be purchased online at dell.com for a price of $599.99 (approx Rs. 27,233) and select locations across the globe. The Inspiron 13z will be released in select Asian countries.
