Style admirers have just got something which merges trendy attributes with several utility features. Well, Gateway has just revealed the latest Gateway ID Series notebook PC line for users living in Canada. Featuring unique style elements, the notebook offer the latest in technology.

The Gateway ID49 adorns a 14-inch HD Ultrabright LED-backlit display while the Gateway ID59 a 15.6-inch HD Ultrabright LED-backlit display and the Gateway ID79 a 17.3-inch HD Ultrabright LED-backlit display. Featuring a sleek silver design, the notebook comes equipped with an aluminum alloy lid to conveniently carry or slide into a briefcase or book bag. The Gateway ID49 and ID59 feature an aqua-blue touchpad which glow when touched.

The Gateway ID49 Series feature Nvidia Optimus graphics technology which controls the notebook’s use of dedicated Nvidia GeForce GT 330M graphics or incorporated Intel HD graphics, depending on the task it is performing. The notebook will run Nvidia GeForce GT 330M to ensure vibrant graphics for video, games and multimedia applications. The Nvidia Optimus technology enhances the devices battery life.

All models feature multi-gesture capabilities to automatically scroll through documents, rotate photos, and pinch to zoom in on various websites. Designed with a simple interface, the keyboard offers precise response for smooth typing. In addition, the touchpad lock and programmable key enhance efficiency of the device. Large screen sizes of the Gateway ID79 and ID59 feature dedicated numeric keypad for seamless typing.

The Gateway ID49 and ID59 Series lend support to Intel Core i3 and Core i5 processing technology and include models with 4GB of DDR3 memory which can be expanded to 8GB. The Gateway ID79 offers enhanced performance for video editing, mainstream gaming and improved multitasking with Intel Core i7 processors supported by up to 6GB of DDR3 memory that can be expanded to 16GB.

The Gateway ID79 adorns a 17.3-inch LED-backlit TFT LCD with a 1600×900 resolution while, the Gateway ID59 and ID49 feature LED-backlit displays with a 1366 x 768 resolution. The touch multimedia keys offer easy control like play, forward, pause and volume control. Multimedia experience is advanced with the Super-DVD player and high-fidelity Dolby Home Theater v3 audio. The HDMI port enables users to use the notebook as a mobile home theater. It uses a single, convenient cable connection to deliver crisp high-quality visuals and high-fidelity audio to a home theater or external LCD.

The Gateway ID Series comes equipped with all necessary ports to connect camcorders and digital cameras, printers and a network connection. The media card readers are compatible with most of the media cards and hard drives up to 640GB in capacity. This capability enables users to access, download, store and share digital content with utmost ease.

Featuring an incorporated social networking button, the notebook offers easy access to Facebook, YouTube and Flickr. Users can utilize their ID Series to stay connected with friends and family through email and websites. Equipped with 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, the notebook includes a 1.3MP webcam and two incorporated digital microphones for enhanced sound recording through the webcam. The MyBackup feature provides users with an easy way to backup all essential data.

The Gateway ID49 is priced at CAD $609.99 (approx Rs. 27,489), the Gateway ID59 at CAD $699.99 (approx Rs. 31,545) and the Gateway ID79 costs CAD $1049.99 (approx Rs. 47,318).
