Asus outs slim U35 and U45 notebooks

Notebooks have definitely changed their forms from conventional ones used for writing to technologically advanced ones used for multiple professional and personal needs. For users who are looking for highly portable notebooks, Asus recently rolled out two new notebooks in its thin and light notebook segment of U Series, the U35 and the U45.
Offering extraordinary performance level, the Asus U35 and U45 are powered by Intel Core i5 or i3 processors and feature the company’s exclusive Super Hybrid Engine. This engine is capable of astutely increasing the frequency in order to handle heavy processing loads. The i5 450M processor of these laptops can set 10.3 percent higher CPU benchmarks with the help of SHE activation.
Measuring just 14.8mm at their thinnest points, both the notebooks come in at under an inch thick. These slim notebooks boast of a total battery running time of 11.5 hours, when performing less demanding tasks. The devices come with Nvidia Optimus technology which auto-switches between the dedicated GeForce G310M and integrated GPUs to suit the intensity of the graphics being delivered.
Providing portability at their best, the notebooks are equipped with brushed aluminum lids in order to keep these notebooks lightweight. These svelte laptops are enriched with potent audio capabilities, high fidelity sound through their Altec Lansing speakers, and SRS Premium Sound technology.
The pricing and availability details of the U35 and U45 are not yet disclosed by Asus.
