The new Wind12 U230- 033 and 040 netbooks glimpsed

Just yesterday we reported about four new Wind models from MSI. Now the company brings two more netbooks into that same array with the inclusion of the new Wind12 U230-033 and U230-040. According to MSI, the new products are set to take the place of the Wind12 U210. The new models are noted to be the first Wind mini-laptops to include a Bluetooth connectivity and dual core processor.

The Wind12 U230- 033 and 040 netbooks weigh only 3.3 pounds each and comprise of 2GB of DDR2 memory, Windows 7 Home Premium operating system and a 6-cell battery. The latest offerings are packed with a 12.1” HD 1366 x 768 16:9 aspect ratio LCD as well as ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card. With this combination, users are provided with a bright widescreen visual experience complete with crisp imagery and deep color saturation.

The Wind12 U230 includes the company’s Ergonomic De-stress keyboard with keys that are noted to be 51% larger when pitted against any standard keyboard. This helps reduce the stress on fingers and wrists as well as improve finger contact range. The MSI models also offer a 1.3MP webcam, 3 USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port, a 4×1 card reader and VGA port.

The new Wind12 U230 netbooks can be acquired from the Newegg website with a starting price of $429.99 (approx. Rs.19,514) and backed with a 1-year limited warranty with extended customer services hours.
