Samsung unfurls new R80 Series Notebooks and N210 Netbook

Samsung Logo Bringing oodles of comfort for everyday computing, Samsung has recently slid the covers off an all-new line of notebooks christened the R80. The new line comes equipped with Blu-ray Disc drives, Nvidia GeForce graphics cards and Samsung’s unique Crystal Wave design.

Signing in as an ideal choice for home and on the go, the R80 series proffers amazing performance with a built in Blu-ray optical drive. Apart from this, the Nvidia GeForce graphics card included in the R580 and R780 will appeal to the gamer in any household.

Ensuring magnified user experience, the HD LED displays ((17.3” – R780, 15.6” – R580, 14.0” – R480) topple sharp images and bold colors with a proper 16:9 aspect ratio. Integrated with a built-in webcam and microphone, these new devices are perfect for use communicating with friends and family over Skype or other VoIP networks.

Further, the R80 series of notebooks hugs an HDMI output, making it perfect for college students or anyone who wants to play Blu-ray movies or stream HD video directly to their TV.

On the other hand, Samsung unleashed the latest N210 netbook for users who want a stylish yet powerful option. With its scratch-resistant, polished pearl white design, non-glare display and nearly full-sized island keyboard, the N210 bobs up as trendy and user friendly. The device is enriched with HyperSpace “Instant On” capability, allowing it to turn on and immediately go online without waiting for Windows to boot.

Users can snap up the R480 for $729.99 (approx Rs. 33,128), the R580 for $829.99 (approx Rs. 37,667), and R780 for $929.99 (approx Rs. 42,205). The N210 netbook will make one shell out $379 (approx Rs. 17,199). These devices are available at Best Buy stores.
