Die-hard gamers will agree that power and graphics play a very important role for a superior gaming experience. Dell seems to have realized that. The company has pushed the performance of Alienware M11x to reach high peak performance with Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and Nvidia Optimus technology.

For a high-definition ultimate gaming experience, Intel’s Turbo Boost technology can further accelerate the performance of Core i5 and i7. The laptop’s 11.6-inch widescreen HD LED color display bundled with internal high-definition 5.1 Surround Sound provides gamers with a desirable gaming atmosphere.

“It’s a challenge to make the world’s most powerful 11-inch gaming laptop even better, but we’ve done it,” remarked Arthur Lewis, general manager, Dell gaming products. “The Alienware M11x is the perfect go-anywhere laptop for people who want to play today’s most popular and demanding games in high definition. With the new Core i7 processor and high-performance discrete graphics that can kick in when needed, gamers can get a stunning visual experience and fast-action play wherever they are without sacrificing long battery life for less intensive activities.”

The Alienware M11x comes equipped with powerful Nvidia GeForce GT 335M graphics card which enables 1GB of discrete and faster HD graphics performance for true-to-life gaming environments and virtual worlds playing stutter-free at high 720p resolutions. Every dynamic cause-and-effect detail is visible in authentic gameplay with the laptop’s built-in Nvidia PhysX technology.

The Nvidia Optimus technology ensures flawless switching from integrated Intel HD Graphics Media Accelerator to GeForce GT 335M graphics when extra performance is required by visually intensive applications. Users can easily switch back to integrated graphics to protect the battery life during less visually demanding applications such as word processing or e-mail exchange.

Dressed in Stealth Black or Lunar Shadow shades, the M11x weighs 4.4oz and carries a distinctive Alienware design with built-in AlienFX illuminated keyboard. The laptop also comes with a laser-engraved user nameplate. Running on Windows 7 operating systems, it features up to 8GB DDR3 800Mhz memory, up to 500GB, 7,200RPM hard drive or 256GB Solid State Drive, optional wireless Bluetooth 2.1, HDMI Port, USB 2.0, and built-in Wi-Fi.

The Alienware M11x laptop is now available online with a starting price of $799 (approx Rs. 37,600).
