Or it had better be. When it comes to laptops for kids aged between three to twelve years, a spill-resistant and drop-resistant construct like the PeeWee Power 2.0’s build is in order. This compact device from PeeWee PC is an entry-level notebook which includes some useful security features too.
PeeWee Patrol and Privacy enable parents to set time limits for browsing and gaming, block access to unsuitable websites or even stop kids from tweaking the system settings. With PeeWee’s integrated software, screen shots can be captured, browsing history viewed and the laptop controlled remotely.
The 3lbs notebook comes fitted with a spill-resistant keyboard, embedded camera, the Windows 7 OS and Microsoft Works 9.0. Additionally, it’s also pre-loaded with no less than fifteen educational games apart from the two aforesaid security suites.
The PeeWee Power 2.0 is being sold through the official PeeWee website for $449.99 (approx. Rs. 20,300). It’s backed by a year-long warranty and lifetime support.
