Gigabyte unfurls new T1000 netbook

Users on the prowl for a stylish yet powerful netbook may call a halt on hearing this bit of news. Gigabyte has recently fastened its belts to reveal an all-new netbook dubbed the T1000.
The newly unveiled device comes equipped with a 1.66GHz N450 processor with an optional N470 for unprecedented performance. The eye-catchy netbook features an impressive 10.1-inch LCD display with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution that is interchangeable between a netbook setup and tablet setup.
In addition, the new offering is enriched with 1GB DDR2 RAM, 250GB 2.5-inch SATA HDD, an integrated microphone with two 1.5W speakers and a 1.3 megapixel web cam. On network connectivity board, the device includes full support for wireless 802.11/b/g/n connectivity, wired 10/100 Ethernet and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.
For complete style and functionality, the netbook embraces smart manager controls, stylish chiclet keyboard and express system recovery.
Further, the T1000 also features two USB ports, an eSATA/USB combo (no USB 3.0 included), four-in-one multi-format card reader, audio in/out, and an express card port.
The pricing and availability details of new Gigabyte T1000 netbook are yet to be announced.
