Apple to unveil 20-inch and 24-inch iMac models with revamped display; 17-inch iMac

Apple eNews Education Newsletter Apple has posted the details of the new iMac line in its March eNews for Education, revealing that the company plans to offer a 17-inch model that would carry a starting price tag of $899 (approx. Rs. 45,354).

Apple Insider states that the computing device from Apple is designed for the education sector. Apparently, users can take full advantage of an integrated technology and education-related programs. Looks like, the company has found a great way of promoting such a model, which is limited to education sales, through its “eNews for Education” newsletter. However, it is missing from the Apple store.

In addition to a 17-inch model, Apple is rumored to continue to offer the 20-inch and 24-inch iMac models with a 30 % larger display, twice the memory and twice the storage. Both the iMacs are presumed to be available for general public through Apple’s official store.

Coming back to the 17-inch iMac, it might get official early next week, reports i4u. Let’s wait for a few days to witness the rumor turning into reality!
