Touchscreen HP Pavilion dv3 details leaked

HP Pavilion dv3 notebook

HP has been trying its best to keep the upcoming HP dv3 with TouchSmart behind closed doors. However, the details of this notebook have been leaked. According to Engadget, these details have been leaked by a document that looks like a rough draft of HP’s Winter 2009/2010 consumer catalog.

The HP Pavilion dv3 comes embedded with TouchSmart 3.0 technology. The notebook features a 13.3-inch touchscreen display. Along with the dv3, this catalog also confirms the existence of the HP Pavilion dm1 and the HP Pavilion dv8. The dm1 is an 11.6-inch CULV notebook while the Pavilion dv8 is an 18.4-inch device that boasts of its Core i7 processor. Well, this sounds like a pretty strong army to combat the brand new ‘Envy’. The spec sheets of these notebooks are yet unclear.

There is no official word on the release or pricing of the HP Pavilion dv3 so far. We hope to see this notebook around soon. Considering the leaked specifications, these notebooks may be an option worth considering.
