Samsung is in the news again with an official announcement of the latest netbook, known as the N310.
Powered by an Intel Atom processor, it features a 10.1-inch LCD display, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, 160 GB HDD, 1 GB of RAM, a 3-in-1 memory card reader, a 1.3 megapixel camera, VGA output and three USB ports. It supports optional HSDPA data and WiBRO (mobile WiMAX) too.
Additionally, it claims to offer a battery life of up to 5hours from the standard battery. Moreover, users can also enhance the runtime with the extended pack that delivers up to 11hours of operation.
Set to arrive in all major markets across the globe, the Samsung N310 boasts of a curvy-casing that offers a “pebble smooth” finish. It shines in color shades like black, red and blue.
The company has maintained its mum on the processor, graphics, operating system and price of the Samsung N310 netbook. The availability date is also unspecified as of now.
