Asus Eee PCs to support Windows 7 platform
The Windows 7 craze is catching up pretty fast. A number of computing devices running on the Windows 7 operating system have followed the platform into the market. And now Asus Eee PC Seashell 1005HA has also joined the brigade by incorporating Windows 7, reports I4U.
Reportedly, Asus is counting on the Windows 7 version of the Seashell 1005HA to become the bestseller on Amazon just like the XP version. The netbook comes embedded with a stunning 10.5 hour battery life. The 10.1-inch screen displays crystal clear images. Apparently, this screen flaunts a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
The Asus Eee PC Seashell 1005HA is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor. The 1GB RAM and 250GB hard disk drive complement the working of the processor to enhance its performance. The netbook also offers support for Wi-fi 802.11n. The other features include 0.3 megapixel webcam and Digital Array mic.
The Windows 7 based Asus 1005HA is currently up for sale on the Amazon and is price tagged at $387 (approx. Rs. 18,077). Asus is also offering its Eee PC Seashell 1008HA-PU17-BK with Windows 7 platform on Amazon.
