MSI C Series CX700 and CR700 notebooks unveiled
MSI has affirmed the availability of its latest offerings in the notebook computers category. Called as the C series CX700 and CR700, they feature a classic unique wedge-shaped design with streamlined 45 degree angled edges. The two products offer unlimited mobility and great audio and video features along with some potent multimedia capabilities.
The notebooks have the latest generation Color Film Print technology. This helps to guard their outer exterior and also creates distinct crystal designs. Layered lines are revealed when perceived from various angles. Matching today’s lifestyle these devices portray a simple yet elegant style.
The CX700 is outfitted with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 3D discrete graphic card. It offers crisp images and 49% enhanced performance as compared to previous generations. Apt for multimedia applications, the CR700 features the Nvidia GeForce 8200M G GPU. It offers excellent 3D display performance through the incorporated Northbridge/Southbridge chipset.
The laptops have integrated 2.1 channel speakers which provide users with quality surround sound and deep bass. These qualities give a rich sound to music, movies and media played from the computers. They have a LED backlit widescreen of 16:9 aspect ratio and a HDMI output port. The maximum storage space of both models is 4GB and they have a 4 in 1 card reader. Both laptops have a 17” display and high capacity 6-cell battery. Portable and light with built-in display technologies they weigh just 3 kg.
Both models also consist of an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam and microphone. With the special MSI video recording capabilities users can create and share loads of videos. Data rate is significantly enhanced as the laptops consist of Bluetooth V2.0+EDR and 802.11 b/g/n WLAN. The notebooks consist of Intel Core 2 Duo processor and Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium operating system.
Both the MSI creations stand out in power management, as they comprise of the ECO engine power saving technology. Through a simple touch of a button optimal power settings can be perfromed for various applications. With the stylish MSI keyboard, immersive multimedia experience is enabled by effortlessly switching between ECO, WLAN, Bluetooth and volume and brightness adjustments.
The availability and price of the MSI C series CX700 and CR700 laptops are not yet known.
