Let’s fall in love with a new stylish laptop with a premium on precision craftsmanship and design that has come in the limelight for fashion-conscious consumers. Dell has taken it’s wrap off the world’s thinnest laptop, known as the Adamo.

Adamo, derived from the Latin word that means “to fall in love”, boasts off an aluminum-fabricated chassis, a scalloped backlit keyboard and prominent 16:9 high definition edge-to-edge glass display that has a screen size of 13.4-inches.

Speaking about the elegant Adamo laptop, Alex Gruzen, senior vice president of Dell’s consumer products, stated “Great design needs to be timeless and evoke emotion in people. While a premium computing experience was assumed for Adamo, the intent was for people to see, touch and explore Adamo and be rewarded by the select materials and craftsmanship you would expect in a fine watch.”

Energized by a 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processors with Intel Centrino technology, the loveable notebook PC features Intel X4500 graphics, 2 GB DDR3 system memory, draft-Wireless N, a high-performance 128 GB SSD, Bluetooth 2.1, two USB ports, a USB/eSATA combo port, Display Port and RJ-45 port.

Based on Microsoft Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium Edition, the Dell Adamo laptop claims to deliver above 5 hours of battery life.

Dell also offers choices for their consumers to select from:

  • Support for WiFi, Bluetooth and optional integrated mobile broadband.
  • External storage option with 250GB or 500GB external hard drive.
  • External DVD+/-RW or Blu-ray disc drive.
  • 8GB USB drive.
  • Connectors and cables including DisplayPort to HDMI, DVI, and VGA.
  • Priced at $1999 (approx. Rs. 102,690) onwards, the Dell Adamo will be available from March 26, 2009 in Onyx and Pearl colors with a broad range of complementary accessories. The chic laptop will hit 24 countries that include US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, UK, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, ANZ, China, Honk Kong, India, Korea, Malaysia/Singapore, Japan and Indonesia.
