Packard Bell to release Butterfly Touch CULV tablet notebook

There’s something about tablet PCs that tends to generate a lot of excitement among gadget fans. Though an official confirmation hasn’t been received yet Netbooked states that according to Notebook Italy, Packard Bell’s EasyNote Butterfly Touch CULV tablet notebook is anticipated to hit shelves across Italy in the early part of 2010.

The device will apparently feature a 11.6 inch 1366 x 768p multi-touch enabled display, offer 2GB of RAM and a 640GB HDD. The Intel CULV processor housed within its chassis has been named as the Intel Pentium SU4100 and Core 2 Duo SU9400 previously.

The visuals will seemingly be delivered by GMA 4500MHD graphics, while the OS run is cited to be Microsoft’s Windows 7 Home Premium. It may be powered by a 6-cell battery and hold the full version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 as also Microsoft Touch Pack applications.

Packard Bell’s EasyNote Butterfly Touch tablet device is apparently scheduled for a February 2010 launch across Italy. It will come in the color black or red at around €559 (approx. Rs.37,680).
