Packard Bell EasyNote Butterfly s revealed
Packard Bell introduces yet another addition to its family of laptops called the EasyNote Butterfly s notebook. Like its namesake, the laptop is light, elegant and long-lasting.
The EasyNote Butterfly s is a perfect blend of mobility, multitasking and is also energy conservative. The notebook is less than 1 inch thick and weighs 500gms less than any other laptop. The cover of the EasyNote Butterfly is black and dark silver in color and a brushed aluminum palm rest highlights the black matt finish keyboard.
The 13.4 inch display screen of the Packard Bell EasyNote Butterfly s has a 16:9 aspect ratio and LED backlight display. Along with Dolby Sound Room, the Butterfly s gives users excellent audio and video experience. With the multi-gesture touchpad, customers can access loads of applications.
The EasyNote Butterfly s has a cooling system which increases the thermal efficiency. The Solid State Drive which is optional with the notebook has no mechanical parts and is relatively smaller then normal HDD. This helps improve the battery life of the Butterfly s by 10%.
With Sleep Mode activated, the power efficiency increases. While the laptop is working on a host of applications or on standby mode, energy is saved. The Butterfly s is an eco-friendly notebook as it also includes a LED panel and ultra low voltage Intel CPU. When using the Switchable Graphics capabilities and the low consumption components, the battery can work up to 8 hours at a stretch.
Red touch hotkeys for easy and quick access to important features are located on top of the keyboard. These keys include the PowerSave Key, My Backup Key, Touchpad Lock, Wi-Fi Activation and Sound Control. With the PowerSave key, users can activate or deactivate the Switchable Graphics Modes. Graphics are supported by the chipset when the graphics card is deactivated. This also helps extend the battery life.
Along with other features, the EasyNote Butterfly s incorporates HD webcam, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics card, HDMI and DDR3 Ram. Optional 3G and Bluetooth are also available with this laptop. The Packard Bell software which includes Norton Internet Security, Nero 8 Essentials, Microsoft Works 9 and the full version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 is installed into the notebook. Also incorporated into the computing system is Metaboli online software and services. The software and configuration may differ from country to country.
