HP unfurls Envy 13 and Envy 15 notebook PCs

HP has recently given a new definition to its premium notebook PC experience by exhibiting the HP Envy sub-brand. The newly redefined, precision-crafted and high-performance notebooks come equipped with HP metal etching and concierge service and support.

The HP Envy notebooks are bright, extremely thin and deliver phenomenal performance. The HP Envy 13 offers the brightest display, whereas the HP Envy 15 is believed to be HP’s fastest user notebook personal computer.

The redesigned HP Envy concentrates on designing an entire superior experience for ascertaining higher satisfaction and meeting the most demanding customers’ expectations. It ensures to deliver optimum level of performance with a lightweight and sleek appearance of the device.

“HP ENVY includes the latest in materials and technology inside and out and pushes the technological and performance boundaries of what can be done in sleek, powerful and lightweight notebook PCs. Discerning consumers will get a premium experience and performance,” said Ted Clark, senior vice president and general manager, Notebook Global Business Unit, Personal Systems Group, HP.

The HP Envy 13 offers both style and substance to users along with an overwhelming audio and visual experience, even in high ambient light situations. It comprises of 82 percent of color gamut enabling enhanced photos’ look with superb color depth. Consumers can now view movies and television-like performance with its speedy 8 millisecond response time. The Envy 13 comes in a small frame nearly less than an inch thin and weighs about 3.74 pounds and its VGA webcam can be utilized in low light conditions concurrently.

Besides, the HP placed high significance in designing its optional Slim Fit extended-life notebook battery which allows up to 18 hours of battery life equipped with extended-life battery. Moreover, the Envy 13 notebook’s high-standard AC adapter is small and light. It utilizes minimal power, has built-in surge protection and includes a rubberized strap, keeping the cables well-maintained and the adapter from slipping off a slick surface. An optional HP USB Ethernet adapter also comes with the device.

On the other hand, this lightweight HP Envy 15 features a sleek, subtly-crafted, laser-etched metal design on the lid which is repeated on the palm rest. Its magnesium alloy delivers immense protection and durability in a 1-inch thin, nearly 5.18 pound package.

Users can be benefited from its superior graphics performance through ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4830 graphics with 1 GB of video memory for visually intense applications, alongside the DirectX 10.1 games and high-definition video playback. The Envy 15 brings an option of two 15.6-inch HP Brightview high-resolution LED backlit displays, which include the Full High Definition LED HP Ultra BrightView Widescreen Display with up to 300-nits brightness, ensuring an excellent display experience for a notebook experience.

The HP Envy 15 is also equipped with a Nightvision VGA webcam which can be used during low-light or zero-light conditions, thereby delivering necessary illumination in dark environments. It also comes with an optional Slim Fit extended-life notebook battery, delivering up to seven hours of battery life.
The HP Envy 13 and Envy 15 are anticipated to be available in the United States on October 18 with a starting price of $1,699 (approx. Rs. 82,189) and $1,799 (approx. Rs. 87,026) respectively.
