Lenovo gets official with IdeaPad S10-2 netbook
IdeaPad series of laptops is ideally intended for home and home office environments. In order to expand the series, one more IdeaPad system with mild revision is officially unveiled by Lenovo.
Lenovo introduces the all-new S10-2 netbook under the IdeaPad S series, offering a new revised version of computing device over the IdeaPad S10 netbook.
Touted to be considerably friendlier, the mini notebook possesses a rounded design with a thinner and lighter chassis. Weighing 2.2 pounds, it comes with a 10.1-inch LED display, an enhanced keyboard, a larger touch-pad and multiple lid color options.
Other than that the netbook is powered by a 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor and runs on a Windows XP operating system. It features 3G network and an extra USB port for added connectivity, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and a 1.3 megapixel camera.
It is believed that the S10-2 is bundled with the Linux-based instant-on feature that offers quick access to the web or media, without booting Windows XP.
Available in black and pink color tones, the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2 netbook has a starting price of $349 (approx. Rs. 17,220) for the core iteration and $399 (approx. Rs. 19,690) for the 3G-enabled device.
