Asus Eee PC T91 – A Touchscreen Convertible Netbook to launch in June
Following the bandwagon of bringing varied netbooks in the market with proficient features, Asus once again propels the expansion of the Eee PC family with its first touchscreen convertible netbook, known as the Asus Eee PC T91.
The Taiwanese tech giant stated that this device was originally sighted at CES and will soon hit the UK market, as per Electricpig. Looking back into the books of history, we have also reported about the Eee PC T91 being displayed at CeBIT.
In terms of features, it is likely to sport an 8.9-inch touch-sensitive screen and possesses a rotating hinge that transforms the netbook into a tablet PC. A TV tuner, GPS, 1GB of RAM, 32GB SSD and 1.33GHz Z520 Intel Atom processor along with the standard ports that are usually found in conventional netbooks are also some of the speculated attributes.
The dimensions of the 1kg T91netbook are 225 x 164 x 25.2-28.4 mm. It is believed that the system boasts off a small and lightweight form factor while offering the basic computing experience.
Unfortunately, the technical specifications of the rumored convertible netbook are yet to be confirmed. Besides, it is said that the above photo is of the Asus Eee PC T91 netbook that was seen in the UK.
The Asus Eee PC T91 is expected to roll out either by the end of May or early June for around £449 (approx. Rs. 33,290).
