Acer to launch Aspire Timeline 181OT notebook

According to Slashgear, Acer has unveiled its new Aspire Timeline 181OT notebook with amazing features. Reportedly, it is based on the lines of the earlier launched Aspire One 751 netbook. This new 11.6-inch notebook bundles up 1366 x 758 resolution with an aspect ratio of 16:9.

It also incorporates 4GB of RAM, Intel ULV SU3500 1.4GHz CPU, and the Intel GS45 Express Chipset with integrated hardware HD video decoding and GMA 4500MHD graphics.

Other attributes of this notebook include HDMI port, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR connectivity, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, S/PDIF output and an optional integrated 3G.

It is likely to offer a battery life of around 8 hours. It will work on Windows Vista Home Premium OS and comes with free upgrade to Windows 7 after this new platform is released on October 22, this year.

Reportedly, it may hamper the sales of the Timeline 3810T notebook. The price of the Aspire Timeline 1810T is expected to be higher than the Aspire One 751 netbook. However, the exact price is yet to be disclosed. The availability details of this notebook are also awaited.
