VIA Nano-powered Samsung NC20 Laptop to Release in UK
Successor of Samsung the NC10 is all set to make its presence felt in the UK market through the BT shop. We are talking about the Samsung NC20 laptop that has gone up for pre-orders in the UK in two iterations, white and black.
Powered by a 1.3 GHz VIA U225 nano processor, the NC20 claims to offer four times the performance over previous generations. The latest laptop differs from the predecessor not only in the CPU but also in the screen size. It sports a 12.1-inch screen with a high-resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
Apart from that, the new notebook features a 1 GB RAM, a 160 GB hard drive, a built-in 1.3 megapixel cam, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a 3-in-1 card reader, pre-loaded Windows XP operating system and 6-cell battery.
While the white version of the Samsung NC20 laptop is due in 5 to 7 days, the black model is expected in 1to 2 weeks’ time. Both the NC20 laptops are priced at £390.98 (approx. Rs. 19,045).
Meanwhile, Samsung has announced that the upgraded NC10 notebook will start shipping by March 09. The 3G capable NC10 comes equipped with a 10.2-inch display, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160 GB hard-drive, HSDPA with WiFi and Bluetooth. Bundled with a 6-cell battery, the HDSPA NC10 will retail for £416.63 (approx. Rs. 20,295).
