Viliv S7 touchscreen UMPC reveals specs, pricing details
Viliv is all set to release the final specs and pricing details of their convertible touchscreen UMPC dubbed Viliv S7, says Engadget. It is said to work for an amazing 9.5 hours on a single charge.
This UMPC measures a mere 7-inches and bundles up full QWERTY keyboard.
The S7 models come with Intel Atom Z520 processor with 1GB of RAM and a running speed of 1.33GHz. They all work on Windows XP OS.
It will be available in three configurations. The mid-range model is called the I-LOG 3X, entry-level model is dubbed S7 I-LOG HX while the high-end model is christened D-LOG 3X. The Viliv S7 convertible touchscreen UMPC was earlier demonstrated at the IDF 2008 as a prototype. Reportedly, its versions could feature 2GHz processors with support for Vista and an upgrade to Windows 7.
The Viliv 60GB HDD (I-LOG HX ) and 32GB SSD (I-LOG 3X) S7 UMPC are priced at $573 (approx Rs. 27,775) and $628 (approx Rs. 30,440) respectively while the 32GB SSD S7 UMPC (D-LOG 3X ) with DMB digital TV tuner is priced at $667 (approx Rs. 32,332).
