BenQ Joybook Lite U101 Netbook Unleashed in India
BenQ India announced the availability of its latest netbook in the Indian market, called the Joybook Lite U101.
Weighing just 1.1 kg, the U101 features include a 10.1-inch screen with 16:9 aspect ratio, 200nits light-emitting-diode (LED) backlight panel, 8ms response time and a user-friendly keyboard that is 90% size of generic notebooks.
Housed in a faceplates patterned In-Mold Roller (IMR) cover with emoticons on a scratch-free coating, the BenQ JoyBook Lite also integrates a 160GB storage capacity, built-in speakers and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.
Said to be a perfect computing companion for travelers and who requires basic computing functions, the ultra-portable BenQ Joybook Lite netbook focuses not only on internet surfing but also on basic application such as viewing spreadsheet documents, listening to music, playing games among others.
It offers battery life of up to 7.2 hours.
BenQ Joybook Lite U101 netbook is slated to hit the Indian market by Q1 2009 and will be priced at Rs. 28,000.
