Sony VAIO W series mini notebook comes to Indian market
The VAIO series has got a colorful addition with the W Series mini notebook. The compact notebook enables users to access email, instant messaging, Facebook, YouTube and more while on the move.
Users can experience the same robustness and performance from the W series as is observed in the conventional VAIO notebooks. The keyboard equipped with springy and responsive keys is handy and user-friendly. It incorporates touchpad and mouse keys which facilitate ease-of-use. The mini notebook is packaged with 160GB hard drive and runs on Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition operating system. The W series notebooks come in three colors pink, white and brown.
The notebook sports a 10.1″ LED-backlit display that offers a resolution of 1366 x 768. With the widescreen, users can view full-width web pages without side-scrolling, offering a full size notebook experience. The W series notebooks incorporate VAIO Multimedia Suite. The suite includes collection of video and photo editing tools that assist users to create premium home movies, slideshows and more.
The mini notebook comes with built-in Wi-Fi for fast connection to internet hotspots as well as for home network. Users can also stream photos, videos and music from the notebook and enjoy it via Playstation3 or other DLNA devices through a compatible TV. It features two convenient USB ports through which users can transfer documents, photos and other media files, effortlessly. With the integrated Bluetooth technology users can make use of peripherals like a wireless mouse without utilizing the device’s ports.
The VAIO W Series mini notebook can be purchased for Rs. 29,990 from all Sony Center stores and retail partners across India.
