Samsung Q320 and R522 Ultra-light Notebooks Unveiled
Samsung expands its notebook terrain with the launch of two new ultra-light and ultra-sleek laptops, called the Q320 and R522.
Starting with the 13.4-inch Q320, the laptop possesses a zero-bezel display, 16:9 aspect ratio, a slot load optical disk drive, Windows Vista Home Premium operating system, an Intel Centrino 2 processor, 256MB of GDDR3 memory and an nVidia GeForce G105m graphics card. It also features USB/eSATA combo port and “SuperSilent Mode”.
Developed for mobile enthusiasts who appreciate excellent craftsmanship, the Samsung Q320 laptop works on a long-life six cell battery which offers 4.6 hours worth of use.
The 2.2 kg Samsung Q320 ultra-light notebook is slated to hit the European stores by April. Sadly, the price is still a mystery.
Coming to the next Samsung computing device, the stylish R522 highlights advanced 12-cell battery power of around five hours. It features a 15.6-inch screen, keyboard coated with latest medical technology, touchpad lighting and a chargeable USB port.
The ultra-sleek device is powered by the Intel Centrino 2 processor and runs on Windows Vista Home Premium OS,
Expected to be available in April 2009, the Samsung R522 laptop carries no details on price and additional features.
