Dell revamps Vostro laptop line

Dell Vostro Laptop The latest announcement by Dell reveals that it has updated its Vostro line-up, according to Slashgear. With so many new laptops making their way to the markets, a good move by Dell we must say.

The line is designed for business professionals but has been redesigned to suit the consumers. The various laptops that have been revamped are the 13.3-inch Vostro 1320, the 15.4-inch Vostro 1520 and the 17-inch Vostro 1720. Well, these laptops will now include videoconferencing software and webcam software. However, you will have to shell out for the webcam and mic.

The update also talks about a new SSD option, thus, you can opt for a standard hard drive or an encrypted HDD installed that offers Wave Systems software. You can also opt for a fingerprint reader.

The updated Vostro 1320, Vostro 1520 and Vostro 1720 are now available for $569 (approx Rs. 28,413), $629 (approx Rs. 31,409) and $649 (approx Rs. 32,408), respectively.
