Dell has been associated with robust and powerful computing devices and the lineup is now fortified with the introduction of the Dell Precision M6500 mobile workstation.

According to Engadget, the Dell Precision M6500 is loaded with a plethora of features and seems to offer advanced functionalities as compared to its predecessor, the M6400. The Dell mobile workstation boasts of Intel CoreTMi7 Extreme Edition Quad Core, CoreTMi7Quad Core processors. Apparently, both Dell Precision M6500 and Covet version supports Genuine Windows 7 Professional Bonus with Windows XP Professional downgrade.

The Dell mobile workstation is inclusive of 160GB 5400rpm hard drive and supports Dell Wireless 1397 802.11b/g mini card. Seemingly, it is equipped with a 9 cell battery and supports 8X DVD with Cyberlink Power DVD. The Precision M6500 offers an option of either 1.0GB ATI FirePro M7740 or 1.0GB Nvidia Quadro FX 3800M graphics card.

The pricing and the availability details of the Dell Precision M6500 are not yet known. However, it seems that the Dell Precision M6500 is backed by a three year basic limited warranty.
